Ok, that was a bad analogy.

Lets assume that the time argument holds up. Now unless they have also broken another rule (making the time argument irrelevant), this would mean that they have not broken any rules for gold selling. This would mean that they bought Guild Wars after seeing the advertising for unlimited free play, yet their playtime was restricted. But since they make a business out of this, it means that not only has the unjustified banning hurt their profits, but its also a case of false advertising on ANET's part. Because of the number of accounts they lost due to this, they would of lost quite a lot of money.

So why haven't any of them even attempted to sue ANET over this ?

Could it be that they can't find a lawyer who will take their case, assuming they believe the argument themselves ?

Why is it that soo many people want to eliminate the farmers and gold re-sellers from the game? Do you think they adversly effect game play somehow? Or perhaps have a detrimental influence on the economy? Or are you just upset that someone is making money playing a game?
Mainly its the increased prices due to inflation from the gold entering the economy, though I'm not sure if anyone has even attempted to estimate exactly how much of an effect it has.

Oh, the pride, the ego...prestige. Once you pull the plug it's losing any value/meaning, if it ever had one. Only little Jonny wins because his father has a well-paid job.

As simple as that idea sounds, it doesn't seem like Anet is employing any means of removing these gold-sellers.
